Harriers Esports team and staff changes.

Over the past few weeks you may have noticed that there has been a lack of updates regarding our teams and their taking part in tournaments. While we understand this can be frustrating it has come to a quiet period of the year where the games we take part in are at a low stage of competition (off season).

Nonetheless we have still been hard at work to help mold our teams into the successful winners they can be. Below is some information on upcoming changes to our teams and staff:

There have been big changes with our rocket league teams. It was unfortunate that there was a disagreement between management and our roster regarding our attempt to attend Dreamhack Valencia. As a result they have been released from their contracts with immediate effect. Team manager Virkie and coach Ulti have also decided to follow them as they wish to stay as a collective group to increase their chances of being picked up by another team. We wish them all the best of luck going forward and there is no bad blood between us.

As a result of the previous roster being released we have decided to give our talented reserve team the opportunity to shine as our first team choice. While fully aware that it will still be a long term project the lads are excited to start showing their worth for Harriers Esports.

Our Smite team have made some major improvements over the last few months despite some complications mid season that saw a drop in form. Alas that drop in form meant we narrowly missed out on a promotion spot to the Smite Minor League with Harriers finishing 3rd but needing to place in the top 2. Although seeing our end of season form help us beat some of the best teams in the competition we feel we have a good chance to push for the top 2 in the next combine series. We look forward to seeing the guys smash their opposition soon enough!

It is unfortunate to report that our players Harukaze and Bloodhound will no longer be a part of Harriers Esports. With the off season fast approaching they decided that they wanted to go seperate ways. We respect their decision and wish them the best of luck going forward.

As for the coming weeks and months we are busy planning our promotion for our upcoming Harriers Esports Academy! Be sure to watch out for more news on that in the coming days.
